The Welcome to the Tales of Trolls & Treasures RPG-Project

This game project was founded to create a role-playing game in which everyone can create his own stories, adventures, characters, monsters or even spell effects - or just play the games others created.

We started this project around christmas 2001. Since then, it has made a lot of progress, but still it can not be considered of as finished. Since 2001 commercial games developed much further, especially in grafic engines. Our game project does not come with ultra-realistic 3D game grafics, but that never was the focus. We are proud of the looks of our grafics, altough it's "just" 2D and for that some kind of old-fashioned.

The real focus of this game project is to give a free platform for players and spare time game developers. We are allways looking for people wanting to help us either in programming, grafics, sounds or creating storylines.

Because all graphics of this project are made with the free 3D render program POV-Ray, all about graphics can be found in the POV-Ray section.

To give a fast summary of the grafical possibilities of POV-Ray, we created a little demo scene, in which four fully animated mages walk towards a dragon, preparing to fight it.
